Allied Trade Association (ATA)
The ATA is a member of the AALAS Site Selection Committee. The ATA is invited to all AALAS Board of Trustee meetings and sits on the fledgling AALAS Exhibitor Advisory Committee. The ATA is committed to working with the various AALAS branches with the same goal of having good facilities and exhibits at their annual meetings, at sites beneficial and convenient for all attendees.

Arizona Branch of American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS)
Just as there are many types of lab animals, there is a great diversity of people whose work involves animal care and use, including: the scientist who designs and conducts research, the veterinarian who supervises the care of animals, the animal caretaker or technician who monitors the animals while providing daily care, the representatives of a company that sells products or services used in lab animals. To benefit these people AZAALAS was set up as an information network for those involved with lab animal science in any way. AALAS depends on its' members to remain informed & grow.

Canadian Association for Laboratory Animal Science

Metropolitan New York Branch of American Association for Laboratory Animal Science
(MNYB-AALAS)
At the 1958 meeting in Chicago, Dr. Christensen submitted a proposal as well as an application complete with a constitution and bylaws for the New York Metropolitan Branch. Both were approved and New York Metropolitan Branch Animal Care Panel (NYMBACP) was in business. (Credit is due to the American Association for Microbiology, whose branch bylaws served as a model for ours.) Let it be noted, during this transitory time another organization was coming about: The Animal Associated of Laboratory Science and the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care, or “AAALAC”.

Minnesota Branch of AALAS (MB-AALAS)
The Minnesota Branch of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science Inc. was established in 1965 as an organization of laboratory animal professionals, including researchers, veterinarians, veterinary technicians and animal care technicians. Our motto is "promoting training and education of laboratory animal technicians and the public in the use of laboratory animals in research", which reflects our commitment to both science and animal welfare.
We accomplish our goals by providing a social and professional network for people working with laboratory animals; training programs; information articles in our quarterly newsletter; access to vendors of laboratory animals and research and animal care products; and public outreach programs.

Organized in 1961, the National Capital Area Branch (NCAB) of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science is the local affiliate of the AALAS. Founded in 1990, the Orange County Branch of AALAS is a non-profit trade organization, guided by a board of directors made up of representatives from its membership. Research Triangle Branch-American Association of Laboratory Animal Science
RTB-AALAS draws from an area with diverse and expansive opportunities in research, technology and development. The Research Triangle Park has been rated #3 nationally in technology and development.
